This organization was founded by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) and heads of government and industry involved in palm cultivation. The RSPO was founded to develop and define best practices for sustainable palm cultivation, and then help member organizations to implement and verify the procedures.
 

We are very proud to offer this product to our customers as a sustainable, non-genetically modified alternative to other waxes. If you are buying palm elsewhere, please contact your supplier and confirm that the wax you are using is not contributing to deforestation of these important habitats.
 
Our 100% Australian  Beeswax candles are pure beeswax imprinted with a honeycomb pattern.  In the hive this pattern saves the bees time, encouraging them to build their hive and collect honey.

What is soy wax?
 
Soy wax is a vegetable wax made from the oil of soybeans. After harvesting, the beans are cleaned, cracked, de-hulled, and rolled into flakes. The oil is then extracted from the flakes and hydrogenated. The hydrogenation process converts some of the fatty acids in the oil from unsaturated to saturated. This process dramatically alters the melting point of the oil, making it a solid at room temperature. The leftover bean husks are commonly used as animal feed.

What are the benefits?
 Soy's greatest advantage is that it is completely renewable. While the global reserves of oil shrink and paraffin prices increase, the only limit to the soy supply is how much we choose to grow.
